The Chama Savings Account.

The Chama Savings account is a withdrawable deposit account that targets members with group savings commonly known  as "Chama".

The terms and conditions of the account are: -

  1. Certificate of registration
  2. Group Minutes and resolution to open account with The Kenya Bankers
  3. Copy of the group/Chama internal rules and procedure (By – laws or ‘Chama constitution’  
  4. Copies of National Identity cards (ID’s) for the signatories
  5. Colored passport size photos for the signatories
  6. Copies of PIN certificates for the signatories
  7.  Membership registration fee of Kes. 2,000/- (Non-refundable)
  8. Completing the Chamas membership joining form
  9. Minimum monthly contribution – kshs 5000/-
